estm Information Systems, an independent ICT consultancy in the West Midlands, is one of the first six businesses to be certified in the latest quality standard from Accredit UK - Business ICT Consultant. The new standard is a quality mark for IT Consultant firms in the industry. This segment is the third area of the IT industry to be recognised by Accredit UK.
This is "gamekeeper turned poacher" as Ian Edwards, estm's director and
principal consultant, is himself an AccredIT UK assessor. Ian says "I
first got involved with AccredIT UK as an extension of our consulting
activities but I soon realised the scheme would benefit my own
business."
estm works with businesses nationwide. By completing the Accredit UK
standard, the company has been recognised for it's skills and for providing
an efficient, honest and reliable service. The Accredit UK standard,
backed by the National Computer Centre, is an independent quality mark
that promotes trust in IT and helps suppliers prove their excellence.
It proves to potential IT purchasers that companies holding the mark
operate with appropriately skilled people, clearly defined processes,
and that the company has a track record of meeting customers’
expectations.
